The SKS is a standard semi-automatic design that is gas operated and uses a conventional wood stock. The attached box magazine holds 10 rounds of 7.62 x 39mm ammunition. It is loaded from the top with the bolt open. A folding blade or spike bayonet is attached to rifle. The SKS rifle was produced by many eastern com-bloc countries as well as China. Inside the grip housing is a useful storage compartment. Works on most SKS models including the "D" model. Does not fit Albanian models.
